Kia Orana, I’m Eric, and I’ve been running Turtle Tours in Rarotonga since 2011. I was the first operator offering this experience before it became a commercial tour, so I know these waters better than anyone.
I’ve spent over 20 years as a professional surfer, which means the ocean has been my office for most of my life. That experience gives me a deep understanding of the marine environment, ensuring you enjoy a safe, respectful, and unforgettable encounter with the turtles.
Our tours are private, personalized, and high-quality. There are no strict time limits, so you can truly relax and enjoy every moment. Every tour is designed to be unique, with the focus on creating memories, not rushing through a checklist.

Reducing our environmental impact
Reducing our environmental impact
- No touch, no take : All our guests are informed about the marine life they are going to see in and out of the water.
- A no touch, no take policy implemented on all tours, ensures minimal disturbance to marine life.
- Plastic free wherever possible : We have reduced our single use plastic waste or cut it out entirely wherever we can.
- Biodegradable : We use Biodegradable and reef friendly cleaning products and provide reef safe sunscreen onboard. This helps reduce the impact of harsh chemicals on the reef and marine life.
- Composting : We compost our food scraps, leftovers and coffee around the island so that less ends up in landfill.
